An iconic, historic building with multiple levels, terraces, outdoor spaces, and gardens located just 2 km from the beautiful beach of Kalathas at region of Akrotiri in Chania. It sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms.
Five bathrooms available and two Kitchens one in each level of the building. Large patios and private spots for everybody. Multiple verandas offering exquisite views day and night. Located at a walking distance to Kalathas beach and at driving distance to the rest of the beaches of Akrotiri region.
Unique in its entirety, one of the few great large homes of the area that keeps its character, the villa offers absolute privacy and calmness.
The balconies, the windows, and the doors are all overlooking the horizon and surround the villa which is situated on a hillside offering views towards the mountains of Stavros, to the beaches of Kalathas, all the way up to the islet of Thodorou and cape Spatha to the West and Malaxa along the majestic White Mountains on the North.
All the elements of the Villa (location, architecture, outdoor spaces, materials used) along with the traditional stone-built arches (six in total) portray the architectural form of Cretan Vilas. The materials used are environmentally friendly; ash-free cement, mineral plasters, plant coatings, cypress trees and all of them are found in the local environment.
The villa consists of three main indoor spaces all interconnected to each other.

A ground floor traditional setup formed by an 'ontas' bedroom offering a double bed arranged in a fairytale setting. The Bedroom is Air-conditioned. Fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and direct access to the ground floor patios and courtyards!
On the first floor you will find the large hall with its wooden library, a fully equipped study, access to the first-floor ensuite bedroom and the guesthouse. Ensuite Bedroom is also Air-conditioned.
Wooden staircases will take you to the top floor where you can find another ensuite double bed bedroom with a private balcony offering gorgeous views of the surrounding environment.
A large outdoor corridor takes you to the top terrace where you get access to the Attic offering a spectacular bedroom with two single beds and another ensuite small bathroom.
The terrace offers absolutely breathtaking views of the starry sky and the surrounding region. This is a fantastic location to enjoy your glass of wine with your friends or family, especially during the late hours of the day!
Next, to the upper lever, connected to the Attic, you can find the 'guesthouse' where two extra people can more than comfortably spend quality time at a fully equipped space, decorated with love and respect to the elements of the whole building. A kitchen and a living room and sitting area are found here. Space is also air-conditioned.

The nearest beach to our home is Kalathas, reachable in under a five-minute driving distance or fifteen minutes of walking distance.
Our home is located in one of the most sought-after areas of Chania. At the Akrotiri peninsula. We are at one of the most relaxing, quiet and with great views areas of Chania, at Kampani village near Kalathas and Chorafakia.
Akrotiri is a place for nature lovers, with interesting walking and hiking paths through the unspoiled gorges with amazing diversity, natural beauty, and living traditions. With picturesque sandy beaches, all awarded with the Blue Flag, century-old monasteries, and churches, impressive caves with rich lithological and archaeological interest, historical monuments, Akrotiri attracts many visitors every year, who enjoy Cretan hospitality and nature at their best.
You will find some unique spots to enjoy the gift of the gods, our Sun and Sea. In the vicinity, there is the famous from the movie 'Zorba the Greek', Stavros beach and the mountain with its infamous cave. Also nearby there are the gorgeous beaches of Kalathas, Marathi, Loutraki, Machairida, Tersanas, Seitan Limania and much more.
The road network is quite extensive and in good condition, reaching all the villages and beaches of Akrotiri. There is also a very frequent bus connection with Chania.
The Venetian harbor of the old city of Chania with its scenic centuries-old lighthouse is located at just 10 km of distance from our home.
