Dar Victoria in Fes (Fes El Bali) is a 4 star riad in the Andalusian district, and is close to the University of Al-Karaouine, Medersa Bou-Inania and Bab Ftouh. Make yourself at home in one of the seven individually decorated guestrooms. Beds are fitted with luxury Italian sheets (Frette). Each room or suite has its own private bathrooms with showers or bathtubs feature complimentary toiletries and bath robes. We can arrange massages and facials for you in our hammam. Breakfast is complementary and lunch and/or dinner can be arranged for you in the riad. Depending on the weather meals will be served in the central courtyard or on the roof terrace. There is free Wifi throughout the riad. The riad has a communal living room with TV, music and library and fireplace. The large roof terrace has day beds and umbrellas – a place to relax and unwind. Summary: Dar Victoria is one of the most spectacular residences for rental when traveling to Fes. We were greeted by two friendly and accommodating house managers, Kareem and Mohammed. They quickly served us “Moroccan Whiskey,” which is a fancy name for hot mint green tea (as a green tea lover in The States, this quickly became a daily favorite). The meals that were provided by both of the house managers were FAR better than what you would get at a local restaurant—I would highly ask them to cook you your meal of choice rather than going out every night. If you need a snack, fresh fruit, yogurt, and olives were readily available for consumption. Rooms at this restaurant were clean, comfortable, and kept neat by house staff. Each bathroom comes equipped with fully functional blow dryers, bathrobes, lovely smelling soaps and hair products, and hot towels. Storage space is fabulous if you are like me and like to hang your clothes you bring with you. Sheets are soft and extra blankets are provided for those who like to sleep with one. The main table of the home is a wonderful place to sit with friends and family for tea or dinner. If you desire wine (as Americans typically do in a dry country), just ask Kareem and Mohammad and they will provide amazing Moroccan wine. We will surely return to this residence in the near future. Thank you for making our time in Fes a truly comfortable and amazing experience.
