Positive: Ether is a wonderful 2-bedroom apartment in a small villa with 2 other apartments, in a quiet area 5 minutes walk from beautiful Perivolos beach. We used the key box to let ourselves in and our friendly host met us on the afternoon of our arrival. There is a modern well-equipped kitchen and a large fridge-freezer that is suitable for self-catering. The sitting and dining area is comfortable and the TV has cable and HDMI inputs (although the colour is a little out). The decor is lovely and you can see a lot of love has gone into this property. There's air conditioning in every room, and although it was not possible to have the temperature very low as the units needed a service, it still worked well for our needs and our host was very quick to respond with help. The mattresses are firm, which is great for some people, but might be a little hard for anyone with back problems (we used the convenient plush blankets as a topper to soften one of the beds which worked really well). Plenty of towels and toilet roll were provided, along with a cleaning service on request. There is a sunny breakfast balcony and a laundry balcony with good washing machine. Minimart is 2 minutes' walk, selling all the basics. You can also get Wolt supermarket deliveries here. There is a bus stop near the mini mart and one near the beach, on a route that goes to Fira. We would absolutely return here.

Negative: The a/c was noisy at times, but just needed a service, and worked better at higher temperatures.
