Positive: Beautiful hotel and a great room as shown in the booking. Lovely spa too, albeit quite small. Breakfast was pretty good and there was one particularly good male waiter who elevated the experience.

Negative: 24 December incredibly loud music. Was told it would finish 11…then 12 and after one it stopped. Could not hear ourselves think. Even with TV full volume, it was invasive. 26th and 27th music again !!! I had been “ misinformed “ or lied to depending on your of the answer to my question - are there any more parties during my stay ? Answer was no, the opposite was true. You decide. We would have moved elsewhere had we been told the truth. Always a concern when a manager or the owner could not be found to speak to me despite them being onsite.

Summary: Not a 5 star experience - will not return and would definitely not recommend. Really spoilt our Christmas break
