Positive: This guesthouse is located a bit farther from the small village where the bus line ends. Since this was a hiking trip, we decided to walk there — it’s a couple of kilometers, mostly uphill. Later that day, we walked back to the village to buy some groceries and then returned to the guesthouse. (For those who prefer not to walk, a taxi was available when the bus arrived.) The guesthouse is run by a lovely couple. They don’t speak English, so we used Google Translate quite a bit, which worked fine. Our room was a little chilly, but extra blankets kept us warm enough. There was no heating, and the temperature dropped close to zero during the night. The bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We were served a wonderful dinner and breakfast made with local ingredients. We hadn’t realized in advance whether the meals were included in the stay, but when we settled up with their daughter upon departure, we found that each meal was €10 — and it was absolutely worth it. Everything was delicious! All in all, we had a fantastic stay and can warmly recommend this guesthouse.

Negative: The distance from the village can be troublesome for those who don’t like to walk.
