Positive: We had made a couple of bookings for our first trip to Marrakech and were initially unsure about this Riad due to limited reviews. After contacting the management and seeing how responsive they were, we decided to go ahead—and we’re very glad we did. It’s very well priced for large families compared to booking multiple hotel rooms, and the kitchen was extremely helpful with kids. Location: Excellent location in the Medina, close to shops and cafés. Cars don’t go all the way to the door, but it’s only about a 2-minute walk to where taxis can drop you off. We managed easily even with three large bags and a senior traveler. Riad: Immaculate, spacious, and modern—best described as Riad meets villa. The ground floor is the communal area with dining, a small open-air pool, and a lounge bed. It was lovely to have rain falling into the pool while we ate, though this area can feel cold in winter since it’s open. There are three bedrooms with attached bathrooms on the first floor along with the kitchen, and a fourth bedroom on the top floor with a beautiful terrace. The rooms, linen, and common areas were clean, cozy, and well designed. The heating was a blessing since we went in winter. Our son had his own room and didn’t want to leave. One small note: the bathrooms could use doors or curtains, though this wasn’t a major issue as the rooms themselves can be locked. Housekeeping & Staff: Daily housekeeping was provided. Jemina took wonderful care of us, preparing a lavish breakfast spread every morning and also cooking a delicious Moroccan dinner on request (at an additional cost). Manager Mohsin was warm and welcoming—he helped with luggage, guided us through the Medina, helped plan our days, and was always available for questions. Highly recommended, especially for families.
