Summary: Riad Cinnamon is a wonderfully enchanting oasis in the middle of Marrakech. Things began well when the manager and another staff member met us and guided us to the Riad and had a cart for our luggage. They led us through the winding streets of the souks and down a side alley. We all were wondering what came next, and upon opening the door we were delighted with the answer to that query. Inside the Riad we found a quiet island of calm with a lovely inner courtyard and well appointed rooms. The rooms were very clean and had candles and other little touches that made the place even more magical. The rooftop has a sitting area and the first night we sat with the manager and he took the time to tell us a bit about the area and ask us how he could make our stay more comfortable. They helped us to arrange a carriage tour and suggested local places to visit. The Riad Cinnamon staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Our three children (ages 15, 12 and 9) were all made to feel just as welcome, something that is not always the case when you travel with children. The manager made us all feel as if we had made a friend in Marrakech. Breakfasts were yummy and there were even age appropriate movies for them to watch when they needed a break from the active days. We were so impressed. I cannot think of any other place I would want to stay when visiting Marrakech. The location is ideal as you are in the heart of the city. The accommodations are luxurious and well appointed. The staff is helpful and kind and will do all they can to make sure you have a pleasant stay. They made sure that we got to our destination and even gave us a cel phone in case we got lost. It was the attention to detail that really set them apart. We highly recommend Riad Cinnamon. In fact, we hope to return!
