Summary: We absolutely loved this hotel! The views cannot be beat…simply stunning! There are lots of hotels within walking distance (good shoes are recommended as many are up the walking path which you may have to do in the dark). Tasos tavern is the closest and offers authentic Greek cuisine and a welcoming owner. Breakfast was excellent - you order what you want the day before from a wide selection and it is served in a panoramic view room protected from the elements. They have a deal with local businesses where they can deliver for one euro. We ate lunch on our balcony a couple of days soaking up the view. There is a fridge in the room if you purchase drinks at a local market but we loved that you could easily order from a beer/wine list at the hotel. Sunsets are fabulous…and the welcome bottle of champagne was used to watch it from the pool area. The staff were amazing…kind and looking to make your stay as pleasant as possible. My one and only caution is that we were in an upstairs room and even though we are both very mobile, I didn’t love doing the stairs at night to go to the bathroom. I would book a downstairs room next time. If we are able to return to Santorini, we will look nowhere else. This is the most fabulous place on the island. Away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to reach it when you want. Dont hesitate to book!
